Service Description
You will be joining a small hand-building class of up to 5 people, allowing for a highly personal learning experience. I (Sebnem) work closely with each participant based on their individual level and interests — almost like a 1:1 session — while also giving you time to work independently on repetitive processes. Each session lasts 2.5 hours, with the final 15 minutes dedicated to cleaning tools and workspaces. What you will learn & experience You will explore core hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling and slab building, along with decoration and glazing techniques. Hand-building offers a relaxed and creative way to work with clay, and the course is flexible: we can focus on specific techniques or objects you’d like to create, or follow a more structured approach to experience a wider range of methods. The number of techniques covered depends on your pace and chosen projects. The first 6 sessions focus on forming and building your pieces, while the final session is dedicated to glazing. What’s included Clay Firing and glazing of small to medium pieces Snacks and beverages Missed classes can only be compensated if another student from a different class is absent. Please note that firing and glazing of large or wide pieces are charged separately. While basic sculptural techniques may be explored, this course is not a specialised sculpture course; for intermediate or advanced sculpting, I recommend learning from a dedicated sculpture instructor.

Cancellation Policy
Minimum number of participants is 2 people. In case there is not enough participant you will receive a full refund or you can schedule another workshop with enough participants. Please understand that cancelling and rescheduling are extra costs and effort so below policy will be applied in those cases: Full amount will be refunded if you cancel up to 14 days before the start day of the workshop. 50% of the workshop price will be refunded in case of cancelling or rescheduling within 4 to 14 days before the start of the workshop. There will be no refunds for no-shows, cancellations and reschedules up to 4 days before the date of the workshop. DewEra reserves the right to cancel before the start of the course due to insufficient participation, illness or any other form of force majeure. In that case, the customer will receive a cancellation notice by e-mail and will be able to receive a full refund for the session or a change of date. In the event that a cancellation is due to a third party or event beyond our control, the customer can book another date. In that case, no automatic refund of the costs will take place. If the customer cannot book an alternative date, then please directly get in contact so that we can make a refund, only for that session.
