Service Description
Note: Payment in 2 instalments is possible. You will be joining a small mixed-level class of up to 5 people, where 2–3 participants work on hand-building and up to 2 participants work on wheel throwing. This booking is specifically for a hand-building spot. The small group size allows me to work closely with each participant, almost like a one-on-one session, while also giving you space to work independently during repetitive stages. Sessions last 2.5 hours, with the final 15 minutes dedicated to cleaning your workspace and tools. What you will learn & experience You will explore core hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling and slab building, along with decoration techniques including glazing. Hand-building is a flexible and relaxing process, and the course is shaped around your interests, goals and pace. We can focus on specific techniques or objects you’d like to create, or follow a broader approach to experience a variety of methods. Participants are encouraged to research and bring inspiration for small to medium-sized pieces they’d like to make. What’s included Clay Firing and glazing of small to medium pieces Snacks and beverages Missed classes can only be compensated if a spot becomes available due to another student’s absence in any of my other classes. Please note that firing and glazing of large or wide pieces are charged separately. While basic sculptural techniques may be explored, this course is not a dedicated sculpture course; for intermediate or advanced sculpting, I recommend learning from a specialised instructor.

Cancellation Policy
Minimum number of participants is 2 people. In case there is not enough participant you will receive a full refund or you can schedule another workshop with enough participants. Please understand that cancelling and rescheduling are extra costs and effort so below policy will be applied in those cases: Full amount will be refunded if you cancel up to 14 days before the start day of the workshop. 50% of the workshop price will be refunded in case of cancelling or rescheduling within 4 to 14 days before the start of the workshop. There will be no refunds for no-shows, cancellations and reschedules up to 4 days before the date of the workshop. DewEra reserves the right to cancel before the start of the course due to insufficient participation, illness or any other form of force majeure. In that case, the customer will receive a cancellation notice by e-mail and will be able to receive a full refund for the session or a change of date. In the event that a cancellation is due to a third party or event beyond our control, the customer can book another date. In that case, no automatic refund of the costs will take place. If the customer cannot book an alternative date, then please directly get in contact so that we can make a refund, only for that session.
