Service Description
Note:Payment in 2 installments is possible. You will be joining a class of max. 5 people and learn hand-building and decoration techniques. 2-3 members will work on their hand-building skills and 2 will work on their wheel throwing skills. This is a special course since I will be working with only four people to improve their skills based on their own levels and interests, almost like a one-on-one session, while you can also spend time alone with your ceramic pieces for repetitive parts. This section is to book the spot for hand-building. Sessions take 2,5 hours and last 15 minutes is dedicated to clean your work space and tools. What you can learn and experience? You will have the opportunity to learn pinching, coiling and slab building techniques as well as many decoration techniques you prefer including glazing (giving it a color and water resistance). Hand-building allows us to be creative and relax. Since it is almost like a private session, we can discuss on techniques you would like to try or the objects you would like to create. But if you want a full guidance and experience as much technique as possible we can also do that. The amount of techniques you can learn depends on your own pace and the projects you have selected. Imagine that you are spending your evenings with ceramics where you are also being guided on techniques that can be tried and learn how to use the necessary tools, how to decorate and enhance the characteristics of your unique pieces. I encourage you to search online the things you would like to make from small to medium size. What is included in the price in addition to the course? Clay is included. Since the amount and size of your pieces may vary, firings and glazing of large/wide pieces will be charged separately but small/medium pieces are included in the price. Some snacks and beverages are also included. Please note that we work with clay and almost anything is possible and some sculpting techniques can be learned also this can be a nice beginning for it but I am not a sculptor and to learn intermediate and advanced techniques of sculpting, I suggest you to search for an expert of that area.

Cancellation Policy
Minimum number of participants is 2 people. In case there is not enough participant you will receive a full refund or you can schedule another workshop with enough participants. Please understand that cancelling and rescheduling are extra costs and effort so below policy will be applied in those cases: Full amount will be refunded if you cancel up to 14 days before the start day of the workshop. 50% of the workshop price will be refunded in case of cancelling or rescheduling within 4 to 14 days before the start of the workshop. There will be no refunds for no-shows, cancellations and reschedules up to 4 days before the date of the workshop. DewEra reserves the right to cancel before the start of the course due to insufficient participation, illness or any other form of force majeure. In that case, the customer will receive a cancellation notice by e-mail and will be able to receive a full refund for the session or a change of date. In the event that a cancellation is due to a third party or event beyond our control, the customer can book another date. In that case, no automatic refund of the costs will take place. If the customer cannot book an alternative date, then please directly get in contact so that we can make a refund, only for that session.
