This intensive course is designed for those who want to deepen their practice through longer, focused sessions and consistent, hands-on guidance. With extended class time and a concentrated schedule, the course allows for both repetition and deeper understanding — key elements in developing wheel throwing skills. Course structure: 2 sessions: Wheel throwing 1 session: Trimming 1 session: Glazing (held one week later, allowing time for drying and firing) Each session lasts 3.5 hours, with the final 15 minutes dedicated to cleaning and resetting the studio. The course is limited to a maximum of 4 participants, ensuring a highly hands-on and supportive learning environment. Alongside continuous individual guidance, you will also have time to work independently and build muscle memory through repetition. What you will learn: Depending on your level, the course is adapted to support your development: Beginners will be introduced to wedging, centering, throwing, trimming, and glazing, while building confidence through repetition More experienced participants will refine their technique, improve consistency, and explore a wider range of forms with tailored guidance By the end of the course, participants can expect to complete a selection of 6-8 pieces. Max. 8 pieces per person will be fired. A note on expectations Wheel throwing is a skill that develops over time and through repetition. This intensive format is designed to accelerate understanding, but progress naturally varies from person to person. Beginners can expect to create small bowls and simple forms, while gaining a solid foundation to build on. Schedule: July 6, 7, 9 and 16 12:30 – 16:00 (Glazing session takes place on the final date) Who is this course for? All levels Those who want to focus intensively over a short period Anyone with daytime availability looking for a deeper, more immersive experience This course is especially suitable for those who have been looking for a daytime option, or who have more flexibility during the summer period. Please note: In case of course cancellation, participants will be notified at least 3 days in advance. Spaces are limited due to the small group size. Early registration is recommended.

Cancellation Policy
Minimum number of participants is 2 people. In case there is not enough participant you will receive a full refund or you can schedule another workshop with enough participants. Please understand that cancelling and rescheduling are extra costs and effort so below policy will be applied in those cases: Full amount will be refunded if you cancel up to 14 days before the start day of the workshop. 50% of the workshop price will be refunded in case of cancelling or rescheduling within 4 to 14 days before the start of the workshop. There will be no refunds for no-shows, cancellations and reschedules up to 4 days before the date of the workshop. DewEra reserves the right to cancel before the start of the course due to insufficient participation, illness or any other form of force majeure. In that case, the customer will receive a cancellation notice by e-mail and will be able to receive a full refund for the session or a change of date. In the event that a cancellation is due to a third party or event beyond our control, the customer can book another date. In that case, no automatic refund of the costs will take place. If the customer cannot book an alternative date, then please directly get in contact so that we can make a refund, only for that session.
