Service Description
Let’s celebrate the arrival of spring with creative handmade planters with faces. Firstly, I (Sebnem) will explain you the overall process of making ceramics. We will be using pinching and coiling techniques to create our ceramic pieces, I will show you the techniques shortly and give you some tips and tricks, then you will form your planters. You can make a piece around 15 cm width and height as in the photo. We encourage you to search online for some inspiration. You can make a planter looks like an animal as in the photo or you can also make human faces. Then you will be able to paint your pieces with some basic patterns. We encourage you to think about the pieces you are going to make or search online for some inspiration. But remember to keep it simple cause we have less than 2 hours to form and paint. Total duration of the workshop is 2 hours. After you finish your pieces they will need to dry, be fired, be glazed with transparent glaze (to make it shiny and water resistant) and then be fired again. This process may take max. 4-5 weeks depending on the studio schedule. We will be informing you via email or whatsapp, so please provide your information correctly. This workshop is suitable for total beginners and will take place in English. Max. number of participants is 8 and minimum is 4. The price includes everything: clay, firings, glazing, some snack and drinks. Ceramic art has a high margin of error. We do our best to deliver the products you make undamaged. It is very rare but if something that is completely out of our control goes wrong, it is not possible for us to replace the product with another product or refund the fee.

Cancellation Policy
Minimum number of participants is 3 people. In case there is not enough participant you will receive a full refund or you can schedule another workshop with enough participants. Please understand that cancelling and rescheduling are extra costs and effort so below policy will be applied in those cases: Full amount will be refunded if you cancel up to 14 days before the start day of the workshop. 50% of the workshop price will be refunded in case of cancelling or rescheduling within 4 to 14 days before the start of the workshop. There will be no refunds for no-shows, cancellations and reschedules up to 4 days before the date of the workshop. DewEra reserves the right to cancel before the start of the course due to insufficient participation, illness or any other form of force majeure. In that case, the customer will receive a cancellation notice by e-mail and will be able to receive a full refund for the session or a change of date. In the event that a cancellation is due to a third party or event beyond our control, the customer can book another date. In that case, no automatic refund of the costs will take place. If the customer cannot book an alternative date, then please directly get in contact so that we can make a refund, only for that session.
