January 9 - Experience the feeling of working with clay on the pottery wheel
Service Description
What is going to happen during the workshop? Firstly you will be introduced with the process of making ceramic pieces. After that I will demonstrate how we make pieces on the pottery wheel, then you will try to replicate what I did and try to make pots. It takes weeks and months to become independent behind the pottery wheel so you will probably not be able to make something so well but the aim is not to make a piece but to experience. I will try to help you to get a piece and you will also have time to try make one alone. One piece you made will be refined a little, fired and glazed by me and fired again. This process might take 4-5 weeks, then you will be informed via email or Whatsapp, so please provide your information correctly. Maximum number of participants is 4 and the session will take 2 hours including 15 minutes dedicated to clean your wheels. Try-out sessions are in English. What is included? Everything to have the workshop is included such as clay, firings, glazing etc. We also offer some snacks and soft drinks. If you book for 4 we can also do it in Turkish, for a session in Turkish please reach out to me directly, we can also book another time slot. Ceramic art has a high margin of error. We do our best to deliver the products you make undamaged. It is very rare but if something that is completely out of our control goes wrong, it is not possible for us to replace the product with another product or refund the fee.

Cancellation Policy
Minimum number of participants is 3. In case there is not enough participant you will receive a full refund or you can schedule another workshop with enough participants. Please understand that cancelling and rescheduling are extra costs and effort so below policy will be applied in those cases: Full amount will be refunded if you cancel up to 14 days before the start day of the workshop. There will be no refunds for no-shows, cancellations and reschedules up to 14 days before the date of the workshop. DewEra reserves the right to cancel before the start of the course due to insufficient participation, illness or any other form of force majeure. In that case, the customer will receive a cancellation notice by e-mail and will be able to receive a full refund for the session or a change of date. In the event that a cancellation is due to a third party or event beyond our control, the customer can book another date. In that case, no automatic refund of the costs will take place. If the customer cannot book an alternative date, then please directly get in contact so that we can make a refund, only for that session.
