Friday Handbuilding Ceramics Workshop

Service Description

On friday evenings we light up our candles, pour our drinks and we handbuild ceramics. The techniques involved in friday sessions are pinching, slab-building, and coiling. In a small group setting of maximum 8 people you will be able to unleash your creativity and learn techniques to handbuild and decorate. All experience levels are welcome. We can make 1 or 2 small pots like mugs, planters, vases, bowls depending on what you would like to make and your pace. Then we can decorate them, give them a texture, color or we can carve! I can give them a shiny finish later with collared or transparent glazes, we will pick the color during the session. Clay, glazes and 2 firings are included in the price. You can collect your pieces from the studio in 3+ weeks depending on the kiln schedule, this will be communicated to you. If you want them to be shipped the risk and cost is not included, but I will do my best for them to stay safe. This workshop is in English but if you are willing to join and speak Turkish, I also can support you in Turkish. Cancellation Policy

Minimum number of participants is 2 people. In case there is no enough participant you will receive a full refund or you can schedule another workshop with enough participants. Please understand that cancelling and rescheduling are extra costs and effort so below policy will be applied in those cases: Full amount will be refunded if you cancel up to 14 days before the start day of the workshop. 50% of the workshop price will be refunded in case of cancelling or rescheduling within 4 to 14 days before the start of the workshop. There will be no refunds for no-shows, cancellations and reschedules up to 4 days before the date of the workshop. DewEra reserves the right to cancel before the start of the course due to insufficient participation, illness or any other form of force majeure. In that case, the customer will receive a cancellation notice by e-mail and will be able to receive a full refund for the session or a change of date. In the event that a cancellation is due to a third party or event beyond our control, the customer can book another date. In that case, no automatic refund of the costs will take place. If the customer cannot book an alternative date, then please directly get in contact so that we can make a refund, only for that session.
