This vase made on the pottery wheel and then textured with hand carvings and embossments. The embossments on top of the vase looking like a crown made with little clay balls attached and pressed individually by maker's fingers. The amount of time and effort spent on the decoration of this vase is reminding us that there is no short and easy path to wear a crown. This stoneware vase looking like it is gold brown from far but it is a combination of brown, red and green. Especially where the glaze is thicker, it has small red and green crystalines making this vase even more unique.
